The new Pixar's "Brave" will be interesting, too.
Here's a great rundown of Disney's characters.

So, Wip, Duncan and I just finished watching "Tangled." Not up there with "Toy Story Three" or "Robin Hood," but fairly good. It got me thinking about that discussion we had about the weaknesses/strengths of Disney's female characters. The new Pixar's "Brave" will be interesting, too. Here's a great rundown of Disney's characters.

Let's all make sure that we are posting as ourselves. So, make up a nickname that is appropriate and let's me recognize that it is you.

I think the ranking is fair, but Tangled and the Princess and the Frog need to be somewhere in the 1-5 range. Those movies showed the princesses standing up for themselves and getting the job done. They both had perfect endings but the middle of both of the movies where they stood up for what they believed in and recognized their goals determined the ending. I think they should be highly thought of because it shows young kids that you can ask for help and accomplish your goals as long as you work towards them.

What is the definition of a perfect ending? Weddings? Family?

I agree with ChillPepper, they show that working hard can help you accomplish many things, and Mr. Mulloy the definition of a happy ending is simple, it ends happily, everyone is happy at the end Leave a Reply. |
